This page will show you how to add a Gallery to the EasyWeb backend and how to add images and edit/delete images from a gallery.

Get started

Create a new gallery

  • Click on Settings in the left panel. Don't click on "Gallery"!

  • Click on Gallery.

  • Click into the Enter Gallery Name textfield.
  • Enter the desired gallery name.
  • Press enter.
  • Done!

(warning)  Galleries cannot be renamed after creation! Choose the name carefully.

  • Click on the X.
  • Done!

(warning)  Deleting galleries cannot be undone! Deletion is permanent.

Add images to a gallery

  • Click on Gallery in the left panel.

  • Click on the name of the gallery, where you want to upload images.
  • Click on Upload Images at the top right corner.
  • Click on "Choose File" and select images from your hard drive.
  • Click on Upload.

(warning)  If you upload images before clicking on the desired gallery, the images will not be added to the correct gallery.

(grey lightbulb)  Hint: In order to access all images, click on All.

(grey lightbulb)  It is recommended to leave the "Compress" option on. Of course, you can disable it if you like.

  • Click on the name of the gallery, where you want to upload images.
  • Click on the arrow at the right of "Upload Images".
  • Click on Import Gallery and select a compressed file from your hard drive.
  • Click on Upload.

(warning)  The uploaded file needs to be a compressed ZIP file that contains image files only. See also here.

  • Click on the name of the gallery, where you want to upload images.
  • Click on the arrow at the right of "Upload Images".
  • Click on Export Gallery.
  • Done!

(grey lightbulb)  The gallery will be automatically downloaded into a compressed ZIP file that contains the image files. This file can be used to import it to another page.

View and edit image info

  • Click on Gallery in the left panel.

  • Click on the name of the gallery, that contains the image.
  • Hover over the desired image.
  • Click on Info.
  • Filename: The filename of the image.
  • Size: File size.
  • URL: Can be used for linking to the file.
  • Collection: The collection where the image is part of.
  • Image Caption: This caption will be used all over the webpage as a caption and description. E.g. within silders and image galleries.
  • Delete: Click here to delete an image from a gallery. 

Photo Editor

  • Click on Gallery in the left panel.

  • Click on the name of the gallery, that contains the image.
  • Hover over the desired image.
  • Click on Edit.
